WOTS and Colorfully Dark Productions
I recently had the pleasure of meeting with John Taylor, the owner and manager of Colorfully Dark Productions. He too is from the Midwest and has aspirations of making it in the film industry. After viewing his first two films, Writers of the storm has decided to join forces and work together on our next project.
At first I had intended on only writing scripts and selling them. I had no intentions of getting into the production and filming of our material. After forming the close friendship with John, and discovering that the other writers in the company would like to produce some of our work, we have decided to take one of our recently finished scripts and move forward with production.
We will begin talks with investors in the month of April and would like to begin pre-production this summer. We will also meet with several talent agencies while in L.A. to hopefully get representation. We will post any further news on this as it happens.
